However, you don’t have to legalise your wedding if you don’t want to.  It’s about celebrating your love and relationship in a way that is special to you.

No.  The choice is down to you.  Most couples prefer to register their marriage (the legal part) before the Celebrant Wedding Ceremony however you’re free to do so afterwards if that works better for you.
